Cave of the Milodon Natural Monument
Magallanes, Chile
Located 24 Kilometers north of Puerto Natales you will find the Cueva del Milodon (Cave of the Milodon) Natural Monument. Composed of three caves, it is the place where the remains of a large herbivorous mammal were found, and it is estimated that the bearlike animal became extinct about 12,000 years ago. At the cave you will find a replica of Milodon, a museum with its remains and a camping ground, all of which are supervised by the National Forestry Corporation.
Torres del Paine National Park

Fiery reds in the morning, deep blues at day; a fan of colors reflect in the magnificent ices that compose Torres del Paine National Park. Covering 242,242 hectares, it is one of the most gorgeous places in Chile and was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1978. After the cooling of the ground and the long Ice Age eras on Earth, this marvelous massif came into existence some 12 million years ago.
Foot of the Towers
Magallanes, Chile
A beautiful hike along narrow paths and with steep climbs. After about a 2 hour hike, you will find El Refugio Chileno, The Chilean Refuge, an ideal place for a short rest to catch your breath. An hour and a half later, after climbing the moraine, left over by a glacier, your efforts will be rewarded with one of the most impressive views of Torres del Paine National Park: the Paine Towers which rise from the beautiful lagoon that lies before them. You can return the same day and spend the night at the hotel, El Refugio Chileno or Las Torres Camping.
Balmaceda Glacier
Magallanes, Chile
In the bosom of Ultima Esperanza you will find Mount Balmaceda located in the Bernardo O'Higgins National Park. The mount belongs to the Andes mountain range and the only way to get there is by sea. Departing early in the morning from Puerto Natales, skirting the coast and exploring the fjord, three hours later you come upon the million-year-old Balmaceda Glacier that is decked out with colonies of cormorants and sea lions.
Serrano Glacier
Magallanes, Chile
The boat docks in the fjord so that you can stroll amidst a native forest that will show the way to the foot of the Serrano Glacier. Alongside the glacier is a small lake that was formed by melting snow.
Grey Glacier
Magallanes, Chile
30 minutes from Grey Refuge is the focal scenic view of the Glacier and across Grey Lake you will find the place where the River, bearing the same name, is born. Grey River runs through the entire Torres del Paine National Park and empties into Rio Serrano, ending its long journey into the sea at Seno Ultima Esperanza. Grey Glassier is at the extreme end; naturally divided into two, a feature that allows tourists to enjoy its endless beauty.
Tyndall Glacier
Magallanes, Chile
A beautiful glacier located at the western end of Torres del Paine National Park. Its long sheets of ice end their journey in a number of small icebergs that are scattered over the surface of Lake Geikie, one more incredible attraction bestowed upon us by nature.
Grey Lake
Magallanes, Chile
A beautiful expanse of water bearing the Glacier’s name and originating from it is occasionally seen with great numbers of small icebergs that have broken off from the glacier. Marvel over the excellent scenic view of Grey Glacier and take a beautiful, short and safe boat ride that will cruise you to the imposing wall of ice where you will cheers with the typical whiskey or pisco sour chilled with thousand-year-old ice.
Lake Pehoe

Located at the heart of Torres del Paine National Park, Lake Pehoe is a must-see for park visitors given that it has an excellent scenic view of the mountains and the magnificence of the Horns of Paine as well as Salto Grande. There is a hotel, shelters and camping on its banks. Crossing over by boat makes it possible to access different paths around the massif and other places of unexpected beauty.
Nordenskjold Lake

The beautiful scenic view of the Lake bearing its name separates the road from the grand mountain range. It allows a striking and very close-up image of the Park right in front of the Horns of Paine. From there, you are quite likely to see wildlife such as condors and foxes.
Toro Lake

It is the largest lake in the Torres del Paine National Park even though part of lies outside the park boundaries. The lake is located at the south entrance of the Park, and the Administration of this beautiful National Park is located on one of its banks.
Amarga Lagoon

Blue Laguna

A gorgeous place that is located at the eastern end of the Park, from where you get a privileged view of the Torres del Paine. You can reach the Lagoon via Route Y-160, the Amarga Lagoon park entrance. It has a campground and lodge.
Paine Lake
Magallanes, Chile
You can only appreciate its beauty if you take the beautiful hike of the Paine Mountain Massif circuit which surrounds this stunning mountain. You will need to consider at least 7 days of hiking, starting at the foot of the Towers, passing by Paine Lake, then onto Lake Dickson, Dog Glacier and finishing at Grey Lake, followed by heading to Grand Paine Refuge and Lake Pehoe or vice versa.
